desert? dessert???

Last saturday ( 19.7.08), I went to nice restaurant located in AutoCity area, BM with my coursemates for dinner. It's a buffer. The food is nice indeed. However, the options are limited especially for vegetarians. For non-vegetarians, it would be ideal. It is less attractive in terms of options of food and atmosphere vis-a-vis Jogoya-restaurant located in Star-Hill.

My curiosity was piqued by the spider roll and scorpion roll. I was thinking to order to have a glance on it but stopped by my coursemates. hehee...Because they know I would eat but ask them to finish it. I did order a few meals that sound nice but at last they were the ones to eat it. Hahaa...Sorry...my junior had to drink the soup I had ordered...hahaaaaa

When I finished the main course meal and intended to order some desserts, I was mystified. I wonder what a ice cream desert is. Erm... is the ice cream yellow in colour? Or, ice cream with blended ais on it?

I hope the restaurant can include some nice french foods and desserts like cheese souffle, pudding en flambe, etc....

Hhehee^^

Durian - 22.7.08

Today, after dinner, we saw a hawker selling durians. We were informed that all the durians are good in quality. How confident he is. He can't see through the durian. I wonder how he can be that confident. We gave it a trial. Now, USM engineering students can have around 10 durians for RM10. We were thinking where we should eat it. Some of the roommates cannot take the intense smell of the durian.

At last, we had it at CIC's room. I can't believe that Jeff CYL can open and eat durian that fast... Haha...He ate the most number of 'biji' durians. It made me eat faster. I don't really eat slowly and enjoy every single bite. However, it's really nice. Yummy... CIC and Jeff CYL kept eating Their cheeks were distended with more than 1 'biji' durians. No image liao....wakakaka...The worst part was that one of them was flatulent while eating durian... Oh my gosh....So grossssss.....hahaaa...really no image....Nevermind...I kept snapping their distended facial expression.

This is the first time I finished eating all the durians so fast. I felt so full and a trifle bloated after eating so many 'biji' durians. Ah......CIC's room is next to my room. My roommates kept blaming why I didn't invite them to eat as well. Sorry...My dear Roommates. Next time if I have the chance, I treat you eat. Now, please be patient and eat the biscuits I have won during 'Hari Interaksi' (Interaction Day among all the Chemical Engineering undergraduates, postgraduates and staff as well as the professors) Please don't lock me outside the door when I go to toilet without bringing the key..Please....Heheee...

そろそろせいふつする?Let's die?

This poster is terrible.
as for my friends, McDonald's hamburger is delicious but why does it state that ' let's go to heaven'? I don't get it.
Divergent view?
According to info box of health, it indicates that it is not good for health.
I have a question. Although there are many types of meat hamburgers available, why is not there a vegetarian hamburger?
I'm a buddhist and a vegetarian.
Whenever I hang out at Mc. Donald with my friends, I can only eat french fries. So pitiful.
When is the time Malaysia Mc. Donald introduce a vegetarian hamburger?
hehehee :)

Life in Cognis 'Oreo'Chemicals

Oleochemicals was a hirtherto fields to some of my friends whenever i told that I had attachment with Cognis Oleochemicals. Oleochemicals? OREOChemicals?ERIOchemicals?
My yahoo email is 'erio_85@yahoo.com'.
Erio ?Oreo?Oleo ? works in Oleochemicals? They were disconfitted.

I spent ten weeks for practical training in Cognis OREOchemicals. It started from 21 April 08. It was unforgettable memory working here. I was under supervision of unit operation manager -Mr. Sudershan (Chem Engineer). I was obliged to study the production processes of fatty acids, glycerine, and methylEster .

Spirits in picture - NACES competition

I formed a team with my coursemates to participate the competition of National Chemical Engineering Symposium representing USM. There are two teams sent to compete in this competition. This picture was snapped during the competition. Hehee...
Their faces looked so scary as if wanna eat people. Beside that, they stood behind and at that corner. It's like spirit. hahaha.....
Yet...they are of the top students in my course.
hehee....

cognis 'OREO'chemicals

This is the part of Cognis 'OREO'chemicals plants where i had attachment. It is the fatty alcohol plant. I snapped it from outside the guard house as it is prehibited to take picture inside. You can notice untoward smells sometimes. Sometimes, it smells like a vegetable which has an intense taste. haha. Its smell is a trifle better vis-a-vis the fatty acid plant's. My coursemate who is trainee in fatty alcohol plant almost cried when she approached to the junction near the fatty acids plant due to the loathsome smell. She looked mournfully as if she was forced to take a deep draught of the fatty acids. Her appetite was affected as well for the whole day.

The fatty acids are usually used to produce soap, shampoo, shower gels and facial cleanser. In fact, the smell of fatty acid is rather atrocious especially short carbon chain fatty acid. If you hate someone, you may use a fatty acid called lauric acid. It does not burn them but the disgusting odor can't be removed no matter how they washed it or spray perfume for the whole day. It really invading their appetite and mood. Hehe.... It might be cured by taking a slice of OREO cheese cake.

Huh?Increased investment in production and refining? Carbon capturing and storage technology works?

The International Energy Agency (IEA) estimates that $6 trillion will be needed over the next three decades to keep up with growing demand for oil and natural gas.

The impacts of global warming to the world are getting more significant. Is it the trend to promote renewable energy avoiding the disturbance of equilibrium of environment? The recent issue really piques my curiosity in the effort of the relevant industries on alleviating he effect of global warming.

Some companies intend to plough most of the profits into finding, producing and refining oil and natural gas. Will the companies be taking a very high risk? CityCars. Biofuels. Solar.

One of the technologies I really doubt of is the carbon capturing and storage technology. Is it really safe to be implemented? There's a significant effect on marine organisms when it is disposed into the sea water, ocean acidification. Besides that, what would it be if there's an leakage of CO2 which may lead to an explosion from the underground?

This technology can only be utilised for a short period but not long term. With growing demand for oil and gas and population, to what extent can this technology really help? Just in case, one day, there's a leakage from the underground, how would the climate be changed due to the sudden increase of CO2 in the atmosphere. Tsunami , tornado, flood ,storm, heavy fall of snow during summer?

Fallacious argument? Correct me if i am wrong. I hope i can learn sth from it.Thanks
